Your cellar is stored in this browser on this device. Use a JSON backup to protect all saved wine details, locations, quantities, notes and any label photos stored with a wine. CSV is for spreadsheets and is not a full restore backup.

What works in this version

Navigation, add/edit wine, winery-name suggestions from your existing records, manual barcode entry, optional purchase price/date, quantities, multi-location allocations with rack-level and cupboard capacity checks, current values, drinking window, search, sort, filters, consumed-bottle updates and backup import/export. Includes best-effort barcode lookup and a label-photo OCR test. Full wine-label identification, live prices and cloud sync are not included yet.

Add wine from a photo

On your iPhone, tap the photo chooser and select Take Photo to photograph the bottle label, or choose Photo Library to import a label photo or a screenshot of the wine details in Vivino. Then tap Read label text and Fill wine fields from label. The free browser-based reader extracts visible text; it cannot access Vivino’s private database, and you must check all suggested fields before saving. Repeat purchases can reuse details from wines already in your cellar.
An internet connection is required to load the text-recognition engine.
Suggestions include South Australian wineries and wineries already in your cellar; you can still type any name.
